Man struck and killed by car in Delaware

MARSHALLTON, Del. - State police were investigating a collision that claimed the life of an unidentified pedestrian Wednesday.

The man was struck shortly before 5:30 a.m. crossing Limestone Road, police said. He had head and internal injuries and died at the scene, New Castle County paramedics said.

The driver and a passenger were both wearing seat belts and were not hurt, police said. No charges have been filed. - AP
