Altoona police have released few details about the death Wednesday of Jesse McElhinney, 16, who lived with his grandparents. His grandfather, Dean Sprankle, said the teen's friend had brought over a gun earlier that day.
McElhinney died of a gunshot to the temple. The friend has not been identified.
Investigators are to meet with the Blair County district attorney to discuss whether charges will be filed, police said. - AP
