Man, 21, shot dead in Philadelphia

A man was shot to death Monday night Philadelphia, police reported Tuesday. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Montrose Street following reports of gunshots shortly after 11 p.m. There, officers found Karon A. Payne Smith, 21, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to PENN-Presbyterian Hospital and pronounced dead after midnight.

A man was shot to death Monday night Philadelphia, police reported Tuesday.

Officers responded to the 2300 block of Montrose Street following reports of gunshots shortly after 11 p.m. There, officers found Karon A. Payne Smith, 21, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to PENN-Presbyterian Hospital and pronounced dead after midnight.

No arrests have been made, the police said in a release.
