What you need to know about throwing away those greasy pizza boxes
It seems that many Philadelphians have been disposing of them the wrong way.

They're made of cardboard, but you can't recycle them.
We're talking about those pizza boxes, stained with the grease of the pie you just ate.
It seems many folks in Philadelphia are not aware that those boxes can't be recycled. So they have been putting them out with their recycling materials, instead of the trash.
The city on Monday sought to remind people of that fact with a short Twitter video:
Besides greasy pizza boxes, here's a list of other things that cannot be recycled:
Plastic bags
Styrofoam food/beverage containers and shipping/packing material
Food waste
Wet or food-soiled paper
Waxed paper plates, cups, and takeout containers
Tissues, paper towels, and napkins
Light bulbs
Porcelain and non-container glass
Cassette tapes (VHS and audio)
Garden hoses
Needles and syringes
Electronics
