MCAP's mission is to provide Montgomery County children who are victims of abuse or neglect free representation in the legal and social service systems from birth to age 18. The staff, all volunteers, also works to ensure that children have safe home environments.

In a statement, MCAP said, "Pat Toomey believes that all children are precious and deserve protection, and he has worked hard to keep our children safe from abuse and sexual exploitation."

MCAP was incorporated in 2004 and says it has worked with more than 3,600 victimized children in Montgomery County. For more information, go to www.mcapkids.org. - Inquirer staff
