Judge candidates are announced

MEDIA County Democrats have announced their candidates for County Court judge.

Lawrence W. Abel of Haverford Township is in private practice concentrating in family law. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and served as a clerk to John Feikens, chief judge of U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the executive committee for the family law section of the Bar Association of Philadelphia.

Lawrence DeMarco of Nether Providence Township is a lawyer concentrating on workplace injuries and rights of the disabled. He is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law and earned a master of laws degree from Temple University. He has served as a judge pro tem in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas for two years.
