What is the history of the congregation?
It was founded 200 years ago by the Rev. Dr. Levi Bull, who also founded seven other Episcopal churches in northwestern Chester County.
What makes you proud of your church?
This church provides developmentally disabled youth with a progressive summer camp program, led by its own professional staff. This program cooperates with the public school systems.
How do you see your church's role in your community?
Christian discipleship expanding in and around the community. Local prayer groups that meet regularly at various members' homes.

Days and hours of services:
St. Mary's parish has two churches: the original building, which was chartered in 1807, and a modern church, built in the 1970s. On Sundays at 8 a.m., there's a traditional service with Eucharist in the 200-year-old historic church in Warwick Village. On Sundays at 10 a.m., there's a contemporary service with Eucharist in the new St. Mary's on Morningside Drive in Elverson.
Anniversary service on Saturday:
There will be a special service at 3 p.m. Saturday at new St. Mary's to celebrate the church's 200th anniversary. An open Eucharist will be observed during the service. Light fare will be served afterward.
