Good morning, Philadelphia. If you're not a football fan, I'm truly sorry — your neighbors aren't going to stop talking about the Eagles any time soon. The Birds flew home yesterday and we're days from a parade. But there is more to discuss, like the next step for Pennsylvania's congressional map and a new state budget.

It's official: the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl victory parade will begin Thursday at 11 a.m. The route will weave from South Philly to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, though more details are expected today.

Philadelphia public schools will be closed Thursday, as will the Museum of Art. Unfortunately, the weather forecast is looking very cold.

In light of Sunday's rowdy celebrations, clean up has turned to parade prep in Center City. Though just four people were arrested Sunday, Police Commissioner Richard Ross expects that number to grow after reviewing surveillance footage and social media.

On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court denied a request for a stay of the state court order for lawmakers to redraw Pennsylvania's congressional map.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court found the current one unconstitutional and Republican lawmakers sought to delay drawing a new one until after the 2018 congressional elections.

A new map will have major ramifications on local politics, though State Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati and State House Speaker Mike Turzai are already looking for other ways to invalidate the ruling.

The Birds received a warm welcome after touching down at Philadelphia International Airport Monday afternoon. Hundreds of screaming fans gathered to get a first glimpse at their returning heroes.

The big win has yet to really sink in for fans and even for Coach Doug Pederson   though he may be the number one reason the Eagles won the Super Bowl. MVP Nick Foles is trying to live in the moment, but fans already want to know: is he a trade target or ripe for a contract extension?

The Eagles will continue to make the rounds with the Lombardi trophy, but there's one place several Eagles will not be going: the White House.
