Penelope Batcheler | Services set

A memorial service has been set for Saturday for Penelope Hartshorne Batcheler, 78, who died of a stroke March 22. She was the only woman on the team of historic preservationists that restored Independence Hall in the 1960s. The service will begin at 2 p.m. at the Quaker Meeting House, 1515 Cherry St., Center City.
