A graveside service for Haley J. Yarmark, 17, of Kintnersville, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Shalom Memorial Park, Pine and Byberry Roads. A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at Solebury Friends Meeting, 2680 Sugan Rd., New Hope.

Miss Yarmark died Friday when she was hit by a car on Church Hill Road while jogging home from Palisades High School, where she was a junior.

Miss Yarmark played saxophone in the school's marching band, her father, Mitchell Yarmark, said. She was a songwriter and studied classical piano for years, he said, and could play by ear.

She planned to major in music in college, and to study graphic design and photography, a recent interest. She was committed to peace in the world, her father said, and had participated in the Bucks County Peace Fair for the last three years. She loved baseball caps, and wore one with a formal dress when she performed in a recent talent show.

Miss Yarmark also is survived by her mother, Sharon Mendelson; her stepfather, John Mendelson; a brother, Julian Anthony Yarmark; paternal grandparents, Martin and Marilyn Yarmark; and maternal grandmother, Esther Crooks.
