, died Thursday of brain cancer at her Manhattan home.

Ms. Marand was nominated for a Tony Award for the 1966 musical. She also appeared on Broadway in Wish You Were Here, the hit 1952 musical set at a Catskills resort. The show was best known for its on-stage swimming pool and popular title song.

Ms. Marand was a regular in summer stock and on television's Merv Griffin Show and often performed with symphony orchestras and at New York night spots. - AP
