'Jean' Giacomucci

Kathryn J. "Jean" Giacomucci, a retired employee of the old Bell Telephone Co. and a loving matriarch of a large family, died Dec. 2. She was 80 and lived in Broomall.

Kathryn J. "Jean" Giacomucci, a retired employee of the old Bell Telephone Co. and a loving matriarch of a large family, died Dec. 2. She was 80 and lived in Broomall.

Jean was born in Manoa, Delaware County, to Walter C. Foley and the former Mary E. Mulhern. She graduated from Haverford High School in 1946.

While working at Bell, she met and married the late Vince Giacomucci in 1952. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and vacationing in Sea Isle City, N.J.

"Jean will always be remembered for her unselfish ways and her ability to bring joy and happiness to others," her family said.

She is survived by three sons, David, Robert and Stephen; a daughter, Jean Senatore; two brothers, Walter and Jack Foley, and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Beattie.

Services: Were Saturday. Burial was in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
