Carbin services set

Funeral services for Thomas A. Carbin, the Westville ironworker who was found dead Monday inside his apartment, have been scheduled for Friday, Dec. 9, at Westville United Methodist Church, Broadway and Center Avenue. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., and the service will follow at 8.

Funeral services for Thomas A. Carbin, the Westville ironworker who was found dead Monday inside his apartment, have been scheduled for Friday, Dec. 9, at Westville United Methodist Church, Broadway and Center Avenue. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., and the service will follow at 8.

Mr. Carbin, 54, a Navy veteran and welder and pipe fitter, was found by his 18-year-old daughter, Christina.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office ruled the death a homicide, but did not release the manner or time. Autopsy results were pending.

In addition to his daughter, Mr. Carbin is survived by his wife, Renee; a son, Thomas Jr.; a brother; and a sister.
