Sherrill 'Shaun' Nielsen | Gospel singer, 68

Sherrill "Shaun" Nielsen, 68, a gospel singer who performed with Elvis Presley, died last Friday of lung cancer, his publicist, Aaron Crisler, said.

Mr. Nielsen sang with Presley on the Grammy-nominated song "Softly as I Leave You" and performed with a number of gospel groups over his career including the Singing Speer Family and Voice.
