Letters: Cruisin' for safety

ANOTHER cruise passenger falls overboard to her apparent death. Sadly, it's not an isolated case. I can't understand why they don't have safety measures to prevent these tragedies. Install safety netting around the ship just a few feet below the rail that would extend out about 10 feet when they are under way and could be retracted in port.

Can't cruise lines afford to invest

in safety?
