Letters: The long-running Bowa-Lopes show

AS A PHILLIES fan who grew up in the 1970s, it was bizarre watching Larry Bowa in a Dodgers uniform and Davey Lopes in Phillies red.

They played so many playoff games against each other, and All-Star games. In 1978, they did both, as well as each winning a gold glove. The two had almost parallel careers and were equally significant to their clubs. The Daily News should publish a picture of them together, in opposite uniforms.
