Consider the impact

There's been a lack of media coverage of strong opposition and rallies nationwide and internationally to the Dakota Access pipeline near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. Yet, the Inquirer ran a commentary with a conservative point of view ("Pipeline protests put jobs, energy security at risk," Monday).

The sky will not fall if this pipeline is halted; instead, there could be an important dialogue about the environmental and social impact and a consideration of an indigenous people.
