Bryant to be honored at Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theater

WHILE IT'S NO laughing matter, two funny guys will be on hand when Kobe Bryant becomes the first athlete to put his hands and feet in concrete outside Hollywood's Grauman's Chinese Theater on Saturday.

Organizers told the Associated Press that talk-show hosts Jimmy Kimmel and George Lopez, both longtime Lakers fans, will be part of the program.

Kimmel will be the master of ceremonies and Lopez will be the keynote speaker.

Bryant, 32, who starred at Lower Merion High, has averaged 25.3 points over 15 seasons and has helped lead the Lakers to five NBA championships.

He is the youngest player in NBA history to score 25,000 points.

And someday soon he's hoping to record an

assist.

Is his next move to marry Hannah?

Joe Montana's son Nate - a quarterback like his father - transferred from Notre Dame to Montana.

The younger Montana should be pretty easy to spot on the field. He'll be the only player with his name on the front and back of his jersey.

Sequined high-tops, anyone?

A lot of athletes look to get into broadcasting or acting.

Not Amare Stoudemire.

He wants to get into women's fashion.

Stoudemire told the New York Post that he is partnering with designer Rachel Roy to put out a new line of clothing.

"We're trying to give the women something to wear when they go to sporting events. I want to add some flair to the hoodies and T-shirts," Stoudemire told the Post.

In case you think he's not serious about the new venture, consider that he was seen sitting with Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour at the Tommy Hilfiger women's runway show on Sunday.
