About the Fire: Maicon Santos leads the Fire with two goals. . . . Midfielder-forward Chris Rolfe has one goal and a team-high 25 shots. . . . The Fire have a two-game losing streak, both shutouts. . . . Midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, of Chestnut Hill Academy, didn't play against the Union last week after receiving a red card during the Fire's 2-0 loss to Montreal on April 27. A Fire official said that Larentowicz is expected back in the starting lineup against the Union.
About the Union: Jack McInerney, who scored the game-winner last week against Chicago, leads MLS with seven goals and with four game-winning goals. . . . Wednesday was the second time the Union have allowed more than two goals this season, and the first since an opening 3-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City. . . . Defender Jeff Parke, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, is listed as questionable. He participated in training during the week.
