The Soul took the lead for good with 4 minutes, 48 seconds left in the third quarter. Quarterback Dan Raudabaugh connected with Andrae Thurman on a 14-yard pass play, giving the Soul a 45-35 lead.

Raudabaugh completed 13 of 16 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns.

He spread the offense around as Anthony Jones caught five passes for 79 yards, Greg Ellingson caught four for 57 yards, Ryan McDaniel made four catches for 41 yards and a TD, and Thurman grabbed three for 46 yards.

Derrick Ross rushed for two touchdowns on three carries for Philadelphia.

The Soul evened their record to 4-4 with the win, while Tampa Bay dropped to 6-3.
