Vonta Leach was released Tuesday by the Baltimore Ravens, who failed to agree on a restructured contract with the all-pro fullback.

Leach was an integral part of a running game that helped the Ravens become champions last season and was also a key figure in the locker room.

Leach will visit the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday.

Bradshaw to Colts. The Indianapolis Colts agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent Ahmad Bradshaw, adding a veteran running back to their crowded backfield.

Bradshaw, 27, spent seven seasons with the New York Giants. He ran for 1,015 yards on 221 carries (4.6 yards per carry) and scored six touchdowns last season but missed four games with injuries.

Nicks reports. An unapologetic Hakeem Nicks showed up for the New York Giants' mandatory minicamp and refused to disclose why he skipped all nine of the team's recent "voluntary" workouts.

Nicks said he spoke with general manager Jerry Reese about his absence, but would not disclose what was said.

Tebow at Pats' camp. The New England Patriots announced the signing of Tim Tebow, the polarizing quarterback with the poor throwing motion, on Tuesday, six weeks after he was cut by the New York Jets and just in time for the start of a three-day minicamp.

Tebow, 25, is being reunited with Josh McDaniels, the Patriots' offensive coordinator who was Denver's head coach when the Broncos traded into the first round to take him with the 25th draft pick in 2010.

Asked whether Tebow would be used at quarterback, coach Bill Belichick said: "We're going to do what we think is best for our football team. We'll see."
