College Basketball: Syracuse tops Indiana, 69-52

Syracuse (8-0) has won 46 consecutive nonconference games at home, and there was no love lost in this rematch from last season's East Regional semifinal won handily by the Orange.

Indiana (6-2) was called for two flagrant fouls, the second coming in the second half as the game was slipping away. Syracuse used a 25-4 surge to break open a tie game.

Pittsburgh 78, Penn State 69 - Talib Zanna scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half, and the Panthers pulled away late for a victory over the Nittany Lions in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Pittsburgh.

James Robinson added 10 points for Pitt (8-0), including consecutive fastbreak layups with less than three minutes to play to turn aside one final rally by Penn State (6-3).

Delaware 85, Charleston Southern 81 - Kyle Anderson scored a game-high 29 points, including 8 of 10 beyond the arc, to lead the Blue Hens (5-3) over the host Buccaneers (3-4).

Franklin and Marshall 80, Ursinus 51 - The Diplomats (3-4, 2-1 Centennial) had three players in double figures en route to the victory over the Bears (1-5, 0-3) in Lancaster.

Holy Family 79, Molloy College 66 - Four Holy Family players scored in double figures as the Tigers came away with the victory in a nonconference game in Rockville Centre, N.Y. Holy Family, winner of two straight, improved to 5-3 overall, while the Lions fell to 2-5.

Lincoln 85, Georgian Court 76 - The Lions 6-1) won their fifth consecutive game, defeating visiting Georgian Court (2-6).

Women

Haverford 62, Washington 43 - Nina Voith scored 19 points and Elizabeth Lynch added 13 to help the Fords (5-0, 3-0 Centennial Conference) extend their perfect start to the season with a victory over the visiting Shorewomen (1-4, 0-2).

Franklin and Marshall 46, Ursinus 43 - The Diplomats held the Bears to one point over the final 5 minutes, 47 seconds en route to a victory in Lancaster.

Franklin and Marshall (2-4, 1-2 Centennial) was led by Kristina McCarthy, who had a game-high 10 points. Alyssa Polimeni led the Bears (3-3, 2-2) with nine points.

Johns Hopkins 69, Gettysburg 59 - The Bullets (4-2, 2-2 Centennial Conference) committed a season-high 25 turnovers as the Blue Jays (5-2, 4-0) defeated the defending Centennial Conference champions in Baltimore.

Moravian 73, Muhlenberg 68 - The Greyhounds (5-1) pulled away from the Mules (4-2) late in the game for a victory in Bethlehem, Pa.

Elsewhere: Raigyne Moncrief scored 22 points and shot 72.7 percent from the floor to lead No. 13 LSU to an 83-66 victory over Indiana State in Baton Rouge, La. The Tigers (7-1) shot 12.5 percent from behind the arc (1 of 8) but outscored the Sycamores (3-2) by 54-24 in the paint. . . . Shoni Schimmel scored 14 points, Bria Smith added 12, and No. 7 Louisville (8-1) cruised to a 91-49 victory over Missouri State (1-5) in Kentucky.
