College Basketball: No. 4 Duke beats No. 2 Wisconsin

With 17 points, Wisconsin senior Frank Kaminsky outscored Duke freshman Jahlil Okafor (13 points) in a test for the two of the nation's top big men.

Hollis-Jefferson on list

Sophomore forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson of Arizona, a former star at Chester High School, has been named to the 50-man watch list for the Naismith Award, given to the nation's outstanding men's basketball player.

Locals nominated

Ryan Arcidiacono of Villanova and Chris Wilson of St. Joseph's have been nominated for the 2015 Allstate NABC Good Works Team, which honors players for their commitment to community service. Also nominated were Jabril Trawick of Georgetown (Abington Friends), Rakeem Christmas of Syracuse (Academy of the New Church), and Mustafaa Jones of Fairleigh Dickinson (Neumann-Goretti).

La Salle 75, Robert Morris 61 - The Explorers used a big first half, when they built a 45-27 lead, and rolled to a road victory.

Providence 51, Villanova 49 - The Friars' Tori Rule hit a running layup with two seconds left to sink the visiting Wildcats (2-5, 0-1 Big East).

Delaware 69, Temple 58 - The Blue Hens (3-3) used a 27-9 run spanning halftime to put the game out of reach for the Owls (3-4).
