After all their trades, the 76ers have at least one first-round pick in this year's draft, and as many as four. Three first-rounders are protected by the original team that held them based on that team's final standing in the league. Here are the possibilities for each:
Their own: The Sixers' position will be determined at the draft lottery on May 19.
Current record: 18-58, third worst.
Lakers (top-five-protected): If the Lakers end up with the fifth pick or better after the lottery, they keep the pick. If they draft sixth or later, it goes to the Sixers.
Lakers' current record: 20-54, fourth worst.
If Lakers get the pick: Sixers get Lakers' top-three- protected first-rounder in 2016 draft.
Heat (top-10 protected): If the Heat end up with the 10th pick or better, they keep it. If they draft 11th or later, it goes to the Sixers.
Heat's current record: 34-41, tied 11th worst.
If Heat get the pick: Sixers get the Heat's top-10- protected first-rounder in 2016 draft.
Thunder (top-18 protected): If the Thunder end up with the 18th pick or better, they keep the pick. If they draft 19th or later, it goes to the Sixers.
Thunder's current record: 42-33, tied 18th worst.
