J.P. Crawford

Crawford continues to find a feel for triple A as he entered Friday with a hit in five of his last six games. He is batting .300 in his last 50 at-bats and is cutting down on his strikeouts.

Jake Thompson
RHP, Lehigh Valley (AAA)
Thompson has allowed just three earned runs in his last 29 innings. He pitched eight innings on Tuesday for the second consecutive start. His run of success comes after Thompson was roughed up on May 31 for six earned runs in less than four innings. He responded with an improved curveball and better fastball command.

Williams entered Friday riding an eight-game hitting streak. He is batting .311 in June with a .373 on-base percentage. The 22-year-old started slow at triple A, but he is starting the summer strong. At this pace, he will likely finish the summer in the major leagues.

Jorge Alfaro
C, Reading (AA)
Alfaro continues to impress and looks to be the team's catcher of the future. He entered Friday with three homers in his last 13 games. His biggest knock is his strikeout-to-walk ratio. Alfaro has walked just four times this season and will have to improve that rate before moving up.

Franklyn Kilome
RHP, Lakewood (A)
Kilome has not allowed more than three earned runs in his last eight starts. He struggled on June 15, allowing three runs on five hits in four innings. But he benefited from the league's all-star break and did not pitch again until Friday, nearly a 10-day layoff. The 20-year-old will likely spend the season in Lakewood.

Pinto seems to have refound his groove. He had pitched seven innings in two of his last three starts before Friday. He had struggled after allowing no runs in seven-innings on May 12, but he is out of that funk. Pinto had a 3.12 ERA in his last four games. He had struck out 26 batters and walked five in his last 26 innings.
