History: The St. Francis media guide has the Red Flash losing to Villanova in 1938, 10-0. The Villanova book lists no such game. The winner will travel next week to South Dakota State, which has an opening bye.

About St. Francis: The Red Flash, from Loretto (Pa.), are making their first playoff appearance . . . Coach Chris Vilarrial was an offensive lineman for 11 seasons in the NFL with Chicago and Buffalo from 1996-2006 . . .
