Vegas sets Sixers' over/under win total at 27.5
It appears the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas paid close attention to the 76ers' offseason additions.
Westgate has the team's over/under win total at 27.5 games, ranking ahead of Phoenix (26.5), Los Angeles Lakers (24.5) and Brooklyn (20.5). The Sixers projected win total doesn't seem like much until you recall the squad finished just 10-72 last season.
There's a lot of excitement surrounding the team after drafting Ben Simmons first overall in the NBA draft. Joel Embiid and Dario Saric are also expected to make their NBA debuts. Embiid, who was taken third overall in 2014, missed his first two seasons after right foot surgeries. Saric, a 2014 draft-day acquisition, played the previous two seasons in Turkey. The Sixers also acquired Jerryd Bayless, Gerald Henderson Jr. and Sergio Rodriguez in free agency.
Last season, Vegas had the Sixers winning 21.5 games. So this isn't always an on-point prediction.
