NASCAR driver Jason Leffler is dead after a crash during a Sprint Car race at Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, New Jersey, according to NBC Philadelphia.
Leffler made 73 starts over nine years in the Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR's top circuit.
"Leffler had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken by medevac to Cooper Trauma Center where he later died from his injuries."

Leffler was 37 years old.
