The California State Athletic Commission today overturned the Bernard Hopkins-Chad Dawson decision to a no-contest.

Hopkins' WBC light-heavyweight title defense on Oct. 15 was halted in the second round and Dawson was awarded a technical knockout. After Hopkins missed a punch, he wound up draped over Dawson's back. Dawson tossed him to the canvas, resulting in a separated shoulder for Hopkins.

The WBC reinstated Hopkins, 46, as WBC titlist within a week of the fight.
