WHEN FLOYD Mayweather meets Manny Pacquiao next month, there's a good chance he'll put his money where his mouth is.

And we're not talking about making a wager on the fight.

Dr. Lee Gause, a New York dentist, has designed a special mouthpiece for Mayweather, aka "Money," that contains $100 bills.

And yes, the bills are as real as the cost, reportedly $25,000.

Gause, who owns Iceberg Guards, said that in addition to protecting against concussions, his mouthpieces help athletes breathe better, which increases performance.

He said he has made guards for many professional athletes, including Mavericks star Amare Stoudemire and suspended Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon

Gause said he has been to Mayweather's last four fights and plans to attend the May 2 bout in Las Vegas.

Many media outlets have reported that Mayweather will be wearing the mouth guard containing the C-notes during the fight.

Gause isn't so sure.

"I've made many mouth guards for Floyd," Gause told the Daily News yesterday. "Some have his name printed on them and some have messages that can't be seen. He has about 10 mouth guards for the Pacquiao fight. Some he wears just for sparring, others just for jump roping.

"It'll be interesting to see which one he wears during the fight."

Cups runneth over

If you haven't heard what Cubs fans did Sunday night, urine for a trip down memory lane.

The season-opener against the Cardinals took place at Wrigley Field, which is undergoing extensive renovations. That led to longer-than-usual lines at the bathrooms, which led to fans relieving themselves in cups, sinks, and God knows where else.

Anyone who has ever been to an Eagles game at the old Vet can easily visualize the scene.

And, unfortunately, smell it too.
