Penn basketball opens season against Davidson

The highlights of Penn's 2010-11 basketball schedule include a Jan. 3 trip to Kentucky and the first game of a sweetheart doubleheader up at the Meadowlands.

The highlights of Penn's 2010-11 basketball schedule include a Jan. 3 trip to Kentucky and the first game of a sweetheart doubleheader up at the Meadowlands.

The Quakers open the season Saturday, Nov. 13 when Davidson, with Conestoga High's and Southern Conference freshman of the year Jake Cohen, visits the Palestra.

Penn goes to Big East power Pittsburgh 2 weeks later and, on Dec. 4, opens a twinbill at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. with a game against Army.

Duke and Butler meet in a rematch of their thrilling national championship game in the nightcap.
