Temple women win third straight game

Winners of three straight, the Temple women's basketball team appears to have regained its shooting touch after a 75-48 rout of host Ohio last night in Athens.

Kristen McCarthy and Shey Peddy scored 16 apiece as Temple (5-4) drained 10 threes for the fourth time this season. Sophomore Victoria Macaulay scored a career-high 13 points off the bench.

Alesia Howard led Ohio (2-5) - losers of its last three - with 13 points.
