Tim Abromaitis scored 22 points to lead No. 24 Notre Dame to an 88-62 win over Stony Brook on Sunday in South Bend, Ind.

Carleton Scott made all eight of his shots, including three three-pointers, and had 20 points. Ben Hansbrough had 14 points with eight assists for Notre Dame (10-1).

Marcus Rouse led the Seawolves (4-6) with 15 points, while Anthony Jackson added 12 and Dave Coley had 11.

Notre Dame began the second half with a 17-7 run. That followed a 12-2 run before the break.

Jack Cooley's three-point play with just under five minutes gone in the second half made it 58-35.

Dominican 83, Cheyney 78 - Despite 27 points from Sharif Bray and 17 points and 13 rebounds from Dave Burton, the Wolves (6-2) fell to the Chargers (4-7) in the finals of the ECAC Holiday Classic, hosted by Caldwell (N.J.) College.

Eight minutes into the game, Cheyney had built an 11-point lead, but Dominican battled back to tie the game, 30-30, at intermission.

Wilmington 75, Philadelphia Univ. 56 - The host Rams (5-4, 2-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) fell to the Wildcats (5-4, 3-1) at the Gallagher Athletic Center.

Wilmington's Corye Payton led all scorers with 17 points, while Philadelphia University junior forward Corey Francisco had a team-high 12 points.

Marymount 74, College of New Jersey 56 - A big run at the end of the first half broke open a tight game as the host Saints (2-8) surged past the Lions (3-8) in Arlington, Va.

Al Matlock led TCNJ with 17 points.
