Hawks women win tourney, earn 700th victory

Ilze Gotfrida scored a game-high 20 points off the bench and Katie Kuester added 19 as the Hawks (10-3) extended their winning streak to seven. LaKeisha Wright led Lafayette (6-7) with 14 points.

In other game:

* At St. Francis (N.Y.), Alyssa Baron scored a career-high 23 points to lead Penn in a 66-38 rout. The win marked the first time the Quakers (4-5) celebrated back-to-back wins since a three-game streak in 2008-09. Penn will look to make it three in a row when it plays at Lafayette at 1 p.m. Sunday.

* At New York, Villanova beat Siena, 57-50, in the Fordham Holiday Classic. Rachel Roberts scored 18 points and Lindsay Kimmel added 17 for the Wildcats (5-6), who will conclude the tournament against Yale today at 3 p.m.

* At College Park, Md., Ebonee Jones' 20-point effort was the lone highlight as La Salle (4-8) lost, 73-53, to Liberty in the consolation game of the Terrapin Classic at the Comcast Center. *
