Area players set for Shrine Game
Two Penn State seniors and one former Nittany Lion will be playing in Saturday's East-West Shrine Game in Orlando, Fla.
Two Penn State seniors and one former Nittany Lion will be playing in Saturday's East-West Shrine Game in Orlando, Fla.
Penn State's all-time leading rusher Evan Royster and defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu will play for the East team along with Delaware quarterback and PSU transfer Pat Devlin.
Royster finished his career with 3,932 yards. Ogbu was second on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss.
Devlin, of Downingtown West High, transfered after 2 years at Penn State and led the Blue Hens to the FCS national title game. He completed 261 of 384 passes for 3,032 yards. He threw for 22 touchdowns and had three interceptions.
The game begins at 4 p.m. and will be televised on NFL Network. *
