The USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championship gets under way this morning at 9:59 at PPL Park in Chester when Penn State meets LSU in a Pool A game.

It will be the first of three games for the Nittany Lions today, who face Big Ten archrival Ohio State at 12:54 p.m. and then meet Cal-Berkeley at 4:06.

Temple might not want to face its three Pool D opponents in consecutive football games, but the Owls may fare better on a rugby field. Temple plays Arizona at 12:30 p.m., then Texas at 3:16, followed by Oklahoma in the day's closer at 7:30.

The 16 men's teams and eight women's teams, which includes Temple and Penn State, get back at it tomorrow. The 22-game schedule gets under way at 8:59 a.m., with the women's championship game at 4 p.m. and the men's finale at 5:20.
