RB Brown returns to Owls' practices

Running back Matt Brown returned to the Temple practice field on Friday, and, well, that's about all that's known so far.
The explosive junior was suspended from the team during spring practices for getting into a verbal altercation with a teammate and coach.
First-year head coach Steve Addazio simply said Brown was "out here working like everyone else right now" before saying he wouldn't elaborate much further.
"I'm pretty open with you guys about a lot of things," Addazio said. "It's a team deal. He's practicing like everyone else."
Last season, Brown led the Owls with 830 rushing yards and added seven touchdowns. He was also named to the all-MAC second team.
He'll be a part of a crowded backfield this season along with junior Bernard Pierce and redshirt freshman Myron Myles.
"It's really talented," Myles said. "Everyone is pushing each other to compete. And that's what it's all about, competing."
Pierce battled injuries last season, playing in nine games and rushing for 728 yards. Myles was a standout at Wissahickon, rushing for over 2,000 yards as a senior.
Myles was asked how closely he had followed Brown's situation.
"I have no comment on that," Myles said.
