Florida rules Floyd ineligible. Defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, a product of George Washington High, has been ruled ineligible, the University of Florida said.

Officials say Floyd will not be able to compete until he is reinstated by the NCAA. They say his eligibility issues are not related to sports agents, boosters or his recruitment.
