Delaware crushes Delaware State

Andrew Pierce (Cumberland Regional) pounded the Delaware State defense, rushing for 106 yards on 15 carries and three touchdowns to help Delaware pull away.

Delaware State's offense struggled, as Nick Elko managed only 115 yards passing and was sacked four times.

Widener 31, Lycoming 28 - Chris Haupt completed 21 of 36 attempts for 198 yards and a TD to lead the Pride (3-0, 1-0 Middle Atlantic Conference) past the Warriors (2-1, 0-1) in Chester.

Edinboro 41, Cheyney 13 - Marcus Jones rushed for 52 yards on 15 carries, but the Wolves (1-2) fell to visiting Edinboro (3-0).

Gettysburg 58, Juniata 27 - Sophomore receiver Aden Twer (Jenkintown) caught eight passes for 164 yards as the Bullets (2-1, 2-0 Centennial) rolled over host Juniata in Huntingdon, Pa.

Albright 65, Wilkes 26 - The Lions (3-0, 1-0 Middle Atlantic Conference) set school records for total offense (675) and passing yards (545) in a game and crushed the Colonels (0-2, 0-1) in Reading.

Johns Hopkins 41, Moravian 0 - Hewitt Tomlin completed 19 of 33 for 243 yards and three TDs as the Blue Jays (3-0, 2-0 Centennial) shut out the Greyhounds (0-3, 0-2) in Bethlehem, Pa.

Lehigh 34, Princeton 22 - Chris Lum threw for 384 yards and four touchdowns and the Mountain Hawks (2-1) turned back a fourth-quarter comeback attempt to defeat the host Tigers (0-1) in the nonleague game.
