Carroll (a Unionville High grad) was 8 for 15 for 82 yards and also carried 11 times for 58 yards as the Golden Rams improved to 4-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference. The late drives were set up by turnovers, as Bob Sabol (Salesianum) grabbed an interception and Matt Colyar (Pennridge) recovered a fumbled kickoff.
Marcus Jones carried eight times for 82 yards and a TD for the Wolves (1-6, 0-4). Tim Hume had 11 tackles and 21/2 sacks for the Cheyney defense.
C.W. Post 34, East Stroudsburg 31 - Coach Denny Douds tied the Division II record by coaching in his 393d game and Ray Wagner threw for 503 yards, becoming the first player with back-to-back 500-yard games in PSAC history, but the Warriors (1-6, 0-4) fell to the visiting Pioneers (4-3, 4-0),
Wagner followed a 522-yard game at Kutztown last Saturday. Douds, the school's head coach since 1974, matched Jim Malosky of Minnesota-Duluth (1958-97) for the most games in the division's history.
Delaware Valley 20, Albright 10 - Kyle Schuberth (Msgr. Bonner) carried 27 times for 123 yards as the Aggies (7-0, 5-0 Middle Atlantic Conference, No. 10 in NCAA Division III) ground past the Lions (4-3, 2-3) in the 61st annual Pretzel Bowl in Reading. Ken Fowlkes (Eastern) was named the Aggies' MVP with 11 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
Widener 54, Stevenson 19 - Freshman Anthony Davis (Chester High) returned a punt 48 yards for a touchdown - his third scoring return of the season - as the Pride (6-1, 4-1 MAC) cruised to their third straight victory, beating the Mustangs (1-5, 0-4) in Owings Mills, Md. Chris Haupt completed 22 of 33 passes for 272 yards and four touchdowns for Widener.
Lehigh 34, Fordham 12 - Chris Lum passed for 413 yards and three TDs as the Mountain Hawks (6-1, 2-0 Patriot League) beat the Rams (1-5, 1-2) in Bethlehem. Lum, who came in leading the Football Championship Subdivision in passing yards and touchdowns, has thrown at least two TDs in 15 of his last 16 games, a span over which Lehigh is 14-2.
Ursinus 21, Juniata 7 - Al Desiderio (Roman Catholic) scored on a 38-yard touchdown pass and a 65-yard punt return in the second quarter as the Bears (4-2, 4-1 Centennial Conference) defeated the Eagles (0-6, 0-5) in Collegeville, Pa.
F&M 31, McDaniel 14 - John Harrison (La Salle) completed 12 of 22 passes for 108 yards and a TD as the Diplomats (2-4, 2-3 Centennial) beat the Green Terror (1-4, 0-4) in Westminster, Md. Mike Oliveto (Conrad Weiser) had five catches for 124 yards and a TD for McDaniel.
Rowan 36, Morrisville State 17 - Steve Hevalow (Absegami) rushed for two TDs, and Louie Bianchini passed for two more as the Profs (4-2, 4-1 New Jersey Athletic Conference) beat the Mustangs (1-5, 1-4) in Morrisville, N.Y.
Lebanon Valley 51, FDU-Florham 7 - Colt Zarilla threw three TD passes, and Ben Guiles became LVC's all-time touchdowns leader with a pair of scores, as the Dutchmen (5-1, 3-1 MAC) drilled the Devils (0-6, 0-4) in Annville, Pa. Guiles passed Adam Brossman (2008) with his 42d and 43d career scores.
Susquehanna 20, Moravian 0 - The Crusaders (4-2, 3-2 Centennial) scored on a pass, a run, and a fumble recovery to top the Greyhounds in (1-5, 1-4) in Sunbury, Pa.
