Addazio not interested in Illinois

Temple football coach Steve Addazio will not interview at Illinois for its opening to replace Ron Zook.

Owls athletic director Bill Bradshaw has confirmed that Illinois did indeed express interest in talking to Addazio, who just completed his first season.

Before granting permission, Bradshaw went to Addazio, who indicated to him that "he was very happy to be at Temple, and not interested in that opportunity."

So much for that rumor.
