Ohio beats Utah State in a thriller

Tettleton also threw for 220 yards and two scores. He led a 61-yard drive in the final two minutes to give the Bobcats (10-4) their first bowl victory and first 10-win season since 1968. The Aggies finished 7-6.

Gorillas take Div. II crown

The Pittsburg State (Kan.) Gorillas (13-1) weren't about to get comfy and cautious so close to ending a 20-year quest for a second national title.

Clinging to a six-point lead in the final five minutes, Zac Dickey launched a 53-yard pass to Andrew Castaneda to set up the decisive touchdown in the Gorillas' 35-21 victory over the Wayne State (Mich.) Warriors (12-4) in Saturday's Division II championship game in Florence, Ala.

Dickey passed for 190 yards and rushed for 68 as the Gorillas (13-1) also turned two blocked kicks into touchdowns to claim their second national title - and snap a streak of three title-game losses, the last coming in 2004.

FCS championship set

The North Dakota State Bison (13-1) trampled the visiting Georgia Southern Eagles, 35-17, on Saturday to advance to the FCS championship game Jan. 7 in Frisco, Texas, where they will meet the 14-0 Sam Houston State Bearkats, 31-28 winners Friday night over visiting Montana (11-3).
