Women's College Basketball: Peddy leads Temple over Fordham

Shey Peddy had 21 points along with 11 assists to lead Temple (14-8, 7-1 Atlantic Ten) to its seventh straight win, 69-51 over Fordham (11-13, 2-7) in McGonigle Hall on Saturday.

Victoria Macaulay added 18 points for the Owls.

Philadelphia U. 100, Concordia 51 - Christine Wooding (Mainland) had 27 points and 19 rebounds as the Rams (17-5, 11-2 CACC) routed the visiting Clippers (6-15, 5-9).

Taylor Peltzer (Archbishop Wood) added 16 points and 10 rebounds and Kristen Blye (Downingtown East) had 19 points for the Rams, who tied the league record for rebounds with 70 boards.

Villanova 59, Providence 53 - Lauren Burford had 17 points as the host Wildcats (15-8, 5-5 Big East) beat the Friars (12-11, 4-6) in 'Nova coach Harry Perretta's 999th career game.

La Salle 81, Massachusetts 67 - Brittany Wilson had 18 points to lift the host Explorers (11-12, 5-3 A-10) over the Minutewomen (6-17, 1-7).

Richmond 78, St. Joseph's 59 - Michelle Baker scored 16 points to reach 1,000 for her career, but the Hawks (14-8, 4-4 -0) fell to the Spiders (18-5, 6-3) in Richmond, Va.

Brown 59, Penn 55 - Alyssa Baron had 16 points, but the host Quakers (8-11, 1-4 Ivy) lost to the Bears (12-8, 3-3).

Gwynedd-Mercy 72, Immaculata 66 - Taylour Alston (North Penn) totaled 15 points and 11 rebounds to lift the Griffins (16-6) over the Mighty Macs (10-11) in Gwynedd Valley.

The Macs' Kelly Brown (Cardinal O'Hara) and Bridget Welz (Gwynedd-Mercy) each had 18.

Connecticut 66, Rutgers 34 - Stefanie Dolson had 16 points as the No. 3 Huskies (21-2, 9-1 Big East) thumped the No. 13 Scarlet Knights (17-6, 6-4) in Storrs, Conn.
