Penn women beaten in OT

The game featured nine ties and five lead changes, and not once did a team hold a lead by more than one goal.

Loyola (13-5) never led in the second half. Penn (9-8) took an 8-7 edge on a Caroline Bunting goal with 4:32 left in regulation, but Loyola countered 50 seconds later.

Drexel to host quarters

Duke will face Colgate and Virginia will face Notre Dame in an NCAA men's lacrosse tournament quarterfinal doubleheader at PPL Park next Sunday.

Virginia - a 6-5 winner over Princeton - faces Notre Dame in a battle of the fourth vs. the fifth seed. The Irish beat Yale, 13-7, to advance. The winners advance to the Final Four over Memorial Day weekend at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

West Chester women

The West Chester women's lacrosse team advanced to the Division II national semifinals with an 11-7 victory over Limestone College on Saturday in Gaffney, S.C.

West Chester (15-3) faces Rollins (15-1) on Thursday (11 a.m.) in Louisville, Ky., as part of the NCAA Division II Festival.
