TRACK AND FIELD: Rutgers-Camden's Tim VanLiew (Deptford) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference field performer of the week for the fifth time in nine months.
The only Division III athlete in a 27-man field at the IC4A/ECAC meet on Saturday, VanLiew finished fourth in the javelin throw with a distance of 211 feet, 1 inch. The junior threw the second-best distance in NCAA Division III, 224-111/4, on April 21.
