Rutgers-Camden men's soccer in top 10
Two wins last week lifted Rutgers-Camden back into the top 10 in the men's soccer national polls. The Scarlet Raptors were tied for sixth in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III rankings released Monday, and jumped to No. 10 in the D3soccer.com top-25 poll.

The Raptors were No. 12 in D3soccer.com and tied for 14th in the NSCAA poll last week, but returned to the top 10 after a week in which they beat New Jersey Athletic Conference opponents Rowan and Kean.
Rutgers-Camden also returned to the top ranking in the South Atlantic Region after one week of being ranked No. 2 behind conference opponent Montclair State.
The Red Hawks are No. 3 in the region and No. 17 overall this week, with York (Pa.) No. 2 in the region.
Rutgers-Camden has been nationally ranked for 15 consecutive weeks dating from last season. The Scarlet Raptors are 7-1 overall and 2-1 in the NJAC.
A pair of second-half goals by Alec Golini, a Rancocas Valley graduate, sent host Lafayette (3-5-1) to a 2-0 nonconference win over Delaware (2-6-1).
Junior goalkeeper John McCarthy (North Catholic) recorded a season-high nine saves to help La Salle (5-2-2) overcome a 17-5 shot disadvantage in a 0-0 double-overtime draw at Maryland-Baltimore County (4-2-3).
Women's soccer. Immaculata (2-6, 2-0 Colonial States Athletic Conference) scored three second-half goals for a 3-1 CSAC win at Notre Dame of Maryland University (4-3, 1-2.
Rachel Gannon (Villa Maria) scored back-to-back goals for the Mighty Macs, and Bridget Cunningham (Ursuline) added the final goal.
Field hockey. Unable to capitalize on 13 penalty corners in the second half, Widener (1-7) suffered a 1-0 loss to visiting Muhlenberg (5-3). Muhlenberg cocaptain Devon Barber (Absegami) scored the goal.
Women's tennis. Goldey-Beacom (6-1) posted its fourth shutout victory of the season with a 9-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference win over Holy Family (4-4) at Torresdale Country Club.
ECAC honors. Chris Haupt, a senior quarterback on Widener's 18th-ranked football team, was named ECAC Southeast player of the week and junior midfielder Karen Thomas (Gloucester Catholic), a junior midfielder on the Widener women's soccer squad, was selected as ECAC South player of the week.
