College Basketball: Baylor women top Notre Dame

In a repeat of last season's national championship game, the Fighting Irish (5-1) could do little to slow Griner as the Bears (7-1), who have all five starters back from the team that went 40-0 last season, used a 10-0 run in the second half to pull away.

Penn 61, St. Francis (N.Y.) 60 - After trailing by 18 with 7 minutes, 29 seconds to play, the Quakers finished with a 22-3 run to beat the host Terriers. Junior Alyssa Baron capped the comeback with the winning basket with 6.4 seconds left. Penn improved to 3-3, while the Terriers fell to 2-4.

Delaware 57, Rhode Island 40 - The Blue Hens (4-2) forced 17 turnovers and held the Rams (3-6) to 28 percent shooting in the nonleague win at the Ryan Center in Kingston, R.I.

Lauren Carra led Delaware with 16 points, while Danielle Parker added 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

St. Joseph's 69, Lafayette 43 - The Hawks (5-2) had no problem with the visiting Leopards (3-6). Redshirt senior Chatilla van Grinsven had a season-high 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks.

Princeton 84, Hofstra 54 - In a nonleague game, the host Tigers (6-2) put away the Pride (1-6).

Albany 75, La Salle 36 - The Great Danes (6-2) manhandled the Explorers (1-8) at Tom Gola Arena.

Men

Florida 72, Florida St. 47 - Kenny Boynton and Mike Rosario both scored 14 points as the No. 6 Gators romped over the defending ACC champion Seminoles. Florida (7-0) has held five opponents to fewer than 50 points this season. The host Seminoles (4-4) have lost three straight home games.
