Widener, which went 3-7 the year before Collins took over, ended this season 11-1. The Pride won the Middle Atlantic Conference and advanced to the third round of the playoffs before losing to Mount Union, the eventual champions of Division III.

"Isaac brings a wealth of coaching leadership to Seton Hill," Seton Hill athletic director Chris Snyder said in a release. "He revitalized the football program at Widener in a very short period of time and he has a plan to do the same for Seton Hill."
