Michigan State forwards Branden Dawson and Adreian Payne did not start because they were involved in a scuffle at a State College, Pa., hotel early Wednesday morning. Spartans coach Tom Izzo said the scuffle started with the roommates needling each other and led to a dented wall. He said both will pay for any property damage. Payne scored 20 points after sitting out the first half.
