College Basketball: Duke bounces back by ripping Maryland

Freshman Rasheed Sulaimon scored a season-high 25 points as host Duke bounced back from one of its worst losses under Mike Krzyzewski by routing Maryland, 84-64, Saturday.

Mason Plumlee added 19 points and Seth Curry had 13 for the No. 1 Blue Devils (17-2, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference). Dez Wells and Charles Mitchell both had 13 points for the Terrapins (15-5, 3-4), who have lost four of six.

Georgetown 53, Louisville 51 - Otto Porter had 17 points and grabbed the game's decisive rebound with 1.4 seconds to play as the host Hoyas handed the No. 5 Cardinals their third straight loss.

Trailing by one, Louisville (16-4, 4-3 Big East) blew several chances to take the lead in the final 2 minutes before falling to the Hoyas (14-4, 4-3).

Kansas 67, Oklahoma 54 - The No. 3 Jayhawks (18-1, 6-0 Big 12) won their 33d straight at home, devastating the Sooners (13-5, 4-2) to extend their winning streak to a nation-leading 17 games.

Iowa State 73, Kansas State 67 - In Big 12 action in Ames, Iowa, Will Clyburn had 24 points and 10 rebounds as the No. 11 Cyclones (14-5, 4-2) handed the Wildcats (15-4, 4-2) their second straight loss.

Wisconsin 45, Minnesota 44 - Traevon Jackson hit a 15-foot jumper from the right side with 4 seconds left as the host Badgers (14-6, 5-2 Big Ten) upset the No. 12 Golden Gophers (15-5, 3-4). The loss was the fourth straight for Minnesota. Wisconsin ended a two-game slide.

Ohio State 65, Penn State 51 - The Nittany Lions (8-12, 0-8 Big Ten) went 11-plus minutes in the first half without a field goal in their home loss to the No. 14 Buckeyes (15-4, 5-2). Jermaine Marshall had 16 points for Penn State, which has lost 18 straight to Ohio State.

Notre Dame 73, South Florida 65 - In Big East action in Tampa, Fla., Jerian Grant scored 18 points and Tom Knight added 17 for the 24th-ranked Irish (16-4, 4-3) in their stomping of the hapless Bulls (10-9, 1-6).
